Children make sense of the world through play, not long conversations — which is why therapy for young people is creative, hands-on, and grounded in curiosity.
I use stories, games, art, movement, and imaginative activities to help children explore their feelings in a way that feels safe, familiar, and engaging.
Through child-centred counselling, children learn to:
Understand and name their emotions without feeling overwhelmed
Develop flexibility and healthier ways to respond to challenges
Build confidence, resilience, and a stronger sense of self
Practice social skills, communication, and empathy
Work through tricky behaviours with supportive guidance
Focus on their strengths, values, and what truly matters to them
Navigate life changes, stress, school pressures, and family transitions
Every session is tailored to your child’s age, developmental stage, and unique needs. My goal is to create a space where children feel understood, capable, and empowered to grow.
Because children don’t exist in isolation, parent and caregiver involvement is an important part of the process. We’ll meet from time to time to discuss progress, explore what your child needs at home, and work together to support their wellbeing in everyday life.
